At Sweeney Conrad, we feel extremely fortunate to be a part of such a vibrant, generous, and supportive community. To that end, in late 2016, we developed our One Good Deed Program to give back, thank our referral sources, and nurture our referral relationships.
Thursday, July 19th marked Sweeney Conrad’s second annual Summer Summit! The Summit is our leadership program in which students join our ranks for the day. This year 23 students attended and were able to get a look at a day in the life of an accountant here at Sweeney Conrad.
This month Brittany Malidore, Senior Associate of Client Account Services at Sweeney Conrad, was named by the Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA), as their 2018 Rising Star. The award recognizes a WSCPA member who is in the process of obtaining a CPA License for active WSCPA leadership, dedication, and service. Candidates are nominated anonymously by their peers and the award is open to any member in Washington state.
Food Frenzy 2018 has officially kicked off at Sweeney Conrad, and we are excited to raise money to fight hunger in Western Washington!
A large part of what drives the culture at Sweeney Conrad is our passion for community involvement. For the past 36 years, we've been committed to doing what we can to enrich the area where we live, work, and play. It’s part of our commitment to “people first”—our employees, our clients, and our community are the foundation of our firm and everything we do.
One of our values at Sweeney Conrad is “passion,” and one of the things we’re most passionate about is serving our Puget Sound community. To meet this goal, we partnered with Hopelink in late 2015. Hopelink offers a wide variety of opportunities to not just donate money, but time. Sweeney Conrad employees love to jump in and get involved with a cause, which is much more personal and rewarding.
